メタルコア・バンド出身の男性ギタリストと子役～ガールズ・グループという経歴を持つ女性シンガーが結成したニューヨークの男女デュオによる4作目のアルバム。ふたりのバックグラウンドをストレートに反映させたエレクトロ・パンク・サウンドは、これまで以上にソング・オリエンテッドなものになると同時に豪快に鳴るパンク／メタル・ギターもTrack.4「I Can't Stand You Anymore」が象徴するようにアリーナで轟かせることを意識したダイナミックなものに。ドリーミーなトラックも含め、王道のポップ感を増したことを考えると、サウンドのエッジはともあれ、パンクという言葉はもう彼らには相応しくないかも。自主レーベルからの第1弾にふたりが込めた情熱はオープン・マインドな作風に結実したようだ。（山口 智男）
