竹内崇仁（Vo/Gt）、尾藤麻美子（Vo/Ba）、岸本達也（Dr）による男女ツイン・ヴォーカルのポップなパンク・バンド、THE リマインズ。昨年秋にドラマーの岸本が加入して、最初の作品がこのミニ・アルバム『ナイショにしとくよ』。これまでの、ファストなビートでラウド且つパンキッシュに攻めるサウンドから、今回はパワー・ポップ・テイストで、メロディとキャッチーさをじっくり引き出した内容になっている。どこか懐かしくて、ほろりとした切なさが染み込んだ音で、それでいてあたたかな（ときに熱い）気持ちになる、そんな曲が並んでいる。UK／USのロックやメロディックもルーツにあるものの、それよりも、GOING STEADYやガガガSPなど、得も言えないような想いをなんとか言葉にしてぶつけ、叫んでいた日本のパンク・バンドたちの遺伝子が色濃いアルバム。（吉羽 さおり）
